Itinerary
Day 1: New Delhi to Manali by Volvo Bus
On your arrival at Delhi, you will catch your pre-booked Volvo Bus from Connaught Place or ISBT for Manali.Travel overnight in Volvo Bus for Manali.
Day 2:Manali Arrival with Sightseeing
On your arrival at Manali our cab will pick you from the Bus-Stand and drop you at the hotel.Check in to the hotel and freshen up.In the afternoon proceed for an exciting trip to valley attractions such as Tibetan Monastery,Club House, Vashist Village, Hadimba Devi Temple-This temple dedicated to goddess Hadimba or Hadimba Devi with a finely wrought four - tiered pagoda roof, dating back to 1553, is built around a natural cave, which enshrines the footprints of the goddess Hadimba. In the evening you can explore other markets on the Mall road like Hong Kong Market, Dragon Shopping Complex,Shangri La Shopping Complex, Snow Lion Underground Market, New NAC Market, Lama Underground, Tibetan Market and Thai Market for a variety of goodies and treats.You can also try the impressive row of restaurants which will keep your grumbling stomachs quite happy.Night stay at hotel.
Day3:Manali-Rohtang Pass-Manali
The third day is even more thrilling with a trip that helps you explore Rohtang Pass, Kothi Gorge, Marhi and Gulaba. You will love playing with snow at the very snowy Rohtang Pass.The name Rohtang means ‘ground of corpses’due to the number of people who lost their lives trying to cross it. The Rohtang Pass is on the Pir Panjal Mountain Range of the Himalayas and serves as gateway to the Lahaul-Spiti,Pangi valley & Leh region.It offers beautiful sights of glaciers, peaks, Lahaul Valley and the Chandra River. The twin peaks of Geypan are also visible from Rohtang. You will also visit the Solang Valley, locally known as Solang Nullah & enjoy the cable car ride at the state-of-the-art ropeway.Later return to the hotel at Manali for the night stay.
Day4:Manali-Manikaran-Kullu
In the morning we will check out from hotel drive to Raghunathji Temple at Sultanpur Kullu. A long, low building behind the royal palace, this temple houses the idol of Raghunathji (a manifestation of Lord Rama), the presiding deity of Kullu. It is said that the king of Kullu Raja Jagat Singh brought the idol from Ayodhya, in the north Indian plains, which is believed to be the birthplace of Rama.After seeking blessings from Lord Raghunath visit Kullu Shawl Industry at Shamshi & you can also buy the World famous Kullu shawls for your beloved.
In the afternoon we will proceed to Manikaran(1760 m) located in the Parvati Valley along the banks of river Parvati. This small town is famous for its hot springs, temples & Gurudwara. The Hindus believe that Manu recreated human life in Manikaran after the flood, making it a sacred area.On way back from Manikaran visit Kasol-"Mini Israel in Himachal". Kasol is an ideal destination for backpackers, trekkers and nature enthusiasts due to its scenic valley, untouched mountains and great climate throughout the year. It is an important base for trekking towards SarPass, Yanker Pass, Pin Parbati Pass and Khiriganga.Late in the evening return back to Kullu(Bhunter) for overnight stay.
Day5:Kullu-Palampur-Dharamshala
We will check out from the Hotel in the morning and start our journey to Dharamshala. Enroute we will visit places like Pandoh Dam,Shiva Temple at Baijnath & Tea Capital of Northern India- Palampur .On reaching Dharamshala in the evening we will check in to a hotel, overnight stay follows in the Hotel.
Day6:Dharamshala (Mcleodganj)
We will start are sightseeing tour by visiting McLeodganj which has a distinctly different character, with its brightly painted buildings, Buddhist temples, prayer flags fluttering in the air and saffron monks and nuns hurrying along the streets. You will be visiting the main Buddhist temple or Tsuglagkhang (cathedral). It is believed that the temple resembles the one in Lhasa, and is surrounded by red and gold prayer wheels that are set in motion by devotees to scatter prayers in the air. Later visit the Norbulingka Institute; it has a four-and-a-half meter gilded image of Buddha besides over a thousand painted images on its walls.
After spending time on the Mall Road we will visit Dal Lake along with Church of St. John in the Wilderness, built in 1860. In the evening if time remains we will take you with us to The Museum of Kangra Art which has a collection of miniature paintings from the Kangra School, some local jewellery, excellent traditional wood carvings, and copies of some paintings by 20th century Russian artist Nicholas Roerich. Later return back to the hotel for night stay.
Day7:Dharamshala-New Delhi by Volvo Bus
Morning is free for you to enjoy the day at your own,you can explore the markets of Mcleodganj or visit the Bhagsunag Waterfall.In the evening we will drop you at the Volvo Busstand to catch your bus for New Delhi.
Note: We can also arrange your drop at Pathankot,Jallandhar,New Delhi or Chandigarh railway station.
